Investor Gaylon Lawrence Jr. was recently featured in the Wine Spectator’s December issue. Lawrence owns one of the largest farming empires in the country spreading across Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, Illinois, and Florida. His portfolio also includes eight regional banks, real estate ventures and vineyards in Napa. However, it wasn’t until Lawrence purchased historic winery, Heitz Cellar that people began recognizing his name. Lawrence invited Wine Spectator to visit his Napa properties earlier this year to describe his love for wine and to share his journey.
