A new Humane Society shelter in Cape Girardeau will hold a ribbon cutting January 13th. The shelter will be nearly five times the size of its former shelter. Five local banks led by First Missouri State Bank helped provide the financing. First Missouri State Bank is one of eight community banks owned by Gaylon Lawrence, Jr.
